-When the Popping slows to one pop to every few seconds take the pot off the burner and let it stand until all the popping stops

-Heat the avocado oil on low heat
-Add steak spice or another favorite seasoning to the oil
-Test the temperature of the oil by placing a popcorn kernel in the pot. The oil will be the right temperature when the oil sizzles around the kernel. If the oil starts to smoke it is too hot and should be treated with care.
